BS & BA in Criminal Justice
The Criminal Justice major is offered for students who wish to pursue a career in our nation's criminal justice system: policing, private security, probation, parole, institutional corrections, juvenile justice, or court administration.

- SOC-105 Introduction to Sociology (3 credits)
- SOC-230 Social Problems in the Modern World (3 credits)
- SOC-327 Human Behavior in the Social Environment (3 credits)
- SOC-344 Introduction to Behavioral Statistics (4 credits)
- SOC-438 Race and Ethnic Relations (3 credits)
Plus 2 CJ electives from:
- CJ-301 Special Topics - Criminal Justice (3 credits)

If students want a B.A. in Criminal Justice, they are required to take two semesters of a foreign language.
